Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS THE VISION AND MISSION OF THE CAE?
The mission of the CAE is to be the most trusted global resource for entrepreneurs in the second half of life. We empower ageless entrepreneurs to achieve their vision.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THE TERM ‘AGELESS ENTREPRENEUR’? WHAT AGE RANGES DO YOU SERVE?
All are welcome, but we focus on serving entrepreneurs in the second half of life. Dr. Carl Schramm, former President of the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship said the book ‘Ageless Startup’ is a “must for career planning for anyone over 40!” People should be thinking about this subject when they are 40, planning it when they are 45, and doing it by 50. There is not top age for this work. People can continue to contribute and work as long as they choose.
HOW DO MEMBERS INTERACT WITH THE CAE?
The CAE will schedule live, online group meetings for CAE members. Members are encouraged to present their projects and specialties to the group.
HOW DO MEMBERS INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER?
CAE members can include as much or as little information about themselves on their member profile page as they choose. Members are encouraged to share their member pages with other members when discussing projects, reaching out for help, or proposing opportunities.
ARE THEIR ‘TRIAL’ MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE?
Yes. Send a request via our contact page.
Are CAE sponsorships available for organizations wanting to support and interact with the work of ageless entrepreneurs?

How do I get in contact with the CAE?
If you have more questions or feedback, please use the contact form on the web site.
WHAT APPROACHES TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP DOES THE CAE FOCUS ON?
Start Small. Start Smart. Start Right Now.
The Center for Ageless Entrepreneurs utilizes concepts drawn from the recent book ‘Ageless Startup: Start a Business at Any Age’, written by CAE Board member and Director Rick Terrien. At its core, the book highlights these three key steps for older entrepreneurs.
HOW DOES THE CAE WORK?
We are a non-profit, peer-to-peer membership organization.
Free information and links supporting ageless entrepreneurs is located on the public web site (www.agelessentrepreneurs.org). We plan on hosting periodic, free ‘Introduction to Ageless Entrepreneurship’ webinars.
The core of the CAE is a paid membership option. CAE members have full access to online business-to-business gatherings and introductions to other CAE members. CAE members can have their company names and LinkedIn profiles listed on our public indexes. Members may include more complete information about their organization details, personal subject matter expertise, and contact information on their members-only bio page.
Members-only gatherings will be held online initially, with a goal of introducing peer entrepreneurs and their projects to one another.
The CAE will also market the capabilities of CAE members to project managers worldwide who are looking for people with knowledge, networks, and know-how to solve problems in their communities or organizations.
WHAT AREAS OF THE WORLD DOES THE CAE SERVE?
The CAE is based in the U.S. and serves members globally. All meetings and correspondence are currently limited to English.
Who runs the CAE?
The Center for Ageless Entrepreneurs is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization. The CAE is managed by an independent board of directors, all working ageless entrepreneurs. More info can be found at our ABOUT page.
