Community, comms and content. Connector of people and ideas. Digital Swiss Army Knife.

I am a digital Swiss Army Knife.

I understand what people look for online, and how to reach them. This experience translates to many industries, and I've worked for media companies, social analytics platforms, apps, and companies in related areas.

My superpower is being able to translate from end user to engineer, and back again. I was once compared to the hub of a wheel because of my ability to connect different departments of an organization, enabling everything and everyone to run more effectively.

I have built communities large and small, and have garnered millions of pageviews for my work and that of others. I've sharpened my SEO skills, having served as a judge for The Drum's Search Awards USA. I've learned how to take online trolls and turn them into avid readers (and story tipsters). I've seen how A/B testing in email and social posts change open rates and click-through, enabling companies to get the most bang for their buck.

My biggest question is always, "Why?" That's a question not asked often enough. It helps get to the heart of the matter and helps everyone figure out what they actually need, not what they think they want.

All this has led the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Venturebeat, Forbes, PRNewswire, and many others to interview me on topics relating to social media, content creation, community building, online harassment and, yes, bacon.

An inaugural inductee of the New Jersey Social Media Hall of Fame, I've spoken at many conferences and events, including SXSW Interactive, World Crypto Economic Forum, Blockchain Nation, Elev8, Marketing Profs B2B, Columbia University's Social Media Weekend, SMX, Social Media Week, Internet Week, ROFLCon and Affiliate Summit East.
